Tojê-êre Dêtîkè (/ˈtoʤɘ/ /ˈɘre/ [cool (fashionable); casual] [idiot; fool]) is a temperate Town located in the Pibíêtbësè Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Tojê-êre Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Tojê-êre Dêtîkè was founded by Bun Glëgfeg̈m, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 23°C (73°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 21°C (69°F). Tojê-êre Dêtîkè receives an average of 195 cm/y (76 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Tojê-êre Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3556 m (11666 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 17th century in late winter of the year 1585, by Bun Glëgfeg̈m. The establishment of Tojê-êre Dêtîkè suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Tojê-êre Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a semi-circular restrictive paverstone mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Unfortuantly, these exceptionaly well made fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A quick look in any direction shows Tojê-êre Dêtîkè is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this town live. Or if the general public wasn’t so enthusiastically, openly, and merrily participating in these activities.

Civic Infrastructure

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Tojê-êre Dêtîkè.

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Tojê-êre Dêtîkè's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Tojê-êre Dêtîkè's grid is powered by a boiler and turbine based power plant.

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè is home to a University which provides higher education in a variety of fields, and also serves as a research institute for those same fields.

Cultural Notes

Tojê-êre Dêtîkè's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.
